Behind the Mask /

This work is a reference to the currently popular “masks” or face filters in social networks.

We are already starting to forget how our online friends look like, who usually hide behind the “special effects” offered by various applications. And since the beginning of the pandemic, we have continued hiding behind a piece of colored cloth offline.

Looking at my child, I thought about a new generation — they are children who perceive people differently from their birth, not seeing all the emotions on their faces. They study new people by their eyes only, without seeing the facial expressions of the speaker and after a while, without seeing the true appearance when they begin using gadgets.

In this project, I myself hide behind masks, but created from different objects from the other side of the phone.
